Mail Out Service for Direct Marketing
If you want your business to flourish and do well, you need to put some time and effort on advertising and marketing. While word-of-mouth still proves to be the most significant method of promotion, you have to consider the existence of bigger and more ruthless businesses that have the capacity and power to overcome you.
Business promotion in whatever form is already a common practice. Direct mail marketing is a good strategy to employ because it gets the information straight to your potential customers. Unfortunately, though, the success of this endeavour relies primarily to the performance of the mail distributor company that you hire for the job.
Pros and Cons of Mail Out Services
Pros
- It is effective. Compared to email marketing, which is so much easier to ignore and delete, because the mail is delivered right to their doorstep, along with other important envelopes and packages they receive on a daily basis. People usually devote breakfasts going over mail. While sipping on a cup of coffee, they can chance upon your mail and that is already puts you at a specific edge over the competition.
- It is less expensive. Compared to other methods, such as advertising on radio and print ads, direct mail marketing is cheaper. It gets the job done, but it does so for a low cost.
Cons
- It is quite costly. Although the cost per drop is fairly low at an average of $0.14, when you compute costs for a number of drops, you can end up paying so much for it.
- It is not always reliable. This becomes an issue when you make a mistake of hiring a bad distribution company. You are paying per drops made, but if deliveries do not really get to the recipient or a merely duplicated per drop, then you waste your money and effort.
Choosing a company to hire for direct mail distribution can be quite tricky. Be guided by cost, reputation and referrals, to secure your decision.
